The Passion Behind Terra Vault Environmental (TVE)
Heather Leven | Principal
I have more than ten years of experience in environmental consulting. I have provided regulatory compliance for multiple industries including oil and gas and have performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on nationwide properties including Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP), Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank, Corrective Action, and Enforcement sites. I have oversaw and conducted assessment activities required to characterize the magnitude and extent of contamination in order to complete an “Affected Property Assessment Report” (APAR) in accordance with Texas Risk Reduction Program regulations. I have also participated in additional risk-based investigations (e.g. Phase II investigations, sediment sampling, etc.) and remediation projects (e.g., source area removal, waste dispositions, radon mitigation, soil vapor assessment and mitigation, etc.), in which I am presently the project manager for all Phase I, Phase II, and remediation projects. In addition, I have been the project manager for oil & gas production and commercial saltwater disposal clients primarily handling multiple produced water spill investigations and remediation activities completed under the jurisdiction of the Railroad Commission of Texas.
In addition, I am involved in environmental regulation and compliance operations of many industries which have included air permitting (NSR, Title V, Risk Assessments, Construction, etc), stormwater permitting (SWPPP), spill prevention pollution and countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Tier II Risk Assessments, Risk Management Plans, air dispersion modeling, and many other forms of environmental compliance reporting. I have participated in storm water sampling, Aboveground Storage Tank inspections, and air monitoring, in addition to the above fieldwork events.
